21st December 2020 passed as another historic & successful edition of Buluk2TheWorld. The event which is in its third year, grows exponentially with each edition. However, this particular impression leapfrogged all previous stagings. The touch of Live Band Music to thrill the teaming crowds was amazing. Sandema definitely got served.

Buluk2theWorld has become Sandema’s biggest musical event. Typically assembling the finest of musicians from across the region. Basically to support a headline act of Builsa extraction. Oftentimes artistes from beyond Upper East Region have lent support to this innovative music fiesta.

As anticipated, the resonance emanating from the massive speakers set Sandema agog by 5pm; signaling the start of another historic event. As the teaming crowds assembled for the biggest musical thrill of the season, artistes readied their craft to prove exquisite.

Mr. Robert Asekabta and a representative of the Builsa Health Directorate opened the event by delivering a health talk. After which the main deal started with Rag Rich as the opening act for the night.

Various artistes including PC, Bullet, One Kasett, Adiipi, Natty Bwoy, No Limit, Young Cidi, Bwoy Jee, Young Culture and many others took turns to wow the crowd.

Then Came the Star Boy of the night Mani Mandela aka Gentle Bad Boy. He and the Bon Dee Entertainment Band served the fans multiple thrills with energetic renditions of some of his tunes; charging up the crowd to anticipate nothing short of a musically elating night.

More artistes including Kilimore, Ruty Roc, Lod Cypid, Kiwano, Onli Mc, AlaptaWan, Rapcha, Showbwouy, Fresh Faya, Possible & Dr. Phresh once again took the stage and proved varying levels of dominance as performers.

Mani Mandela Returned for the second time to perform another set of songs, this time around without the Band. However, his mastery of the microphone and stagecraft was still evident as the cheering crowd sang along to his hit songs.

The night was an exciting one with more performances by Kapato Reigns, King Aboloway and some more artistes.

Kapato Reigns

As if Mani Mandela was feeding off the thrill of the crowd, he returned for a third time. This time around he performed alongside artistes he had features with. Notably Adiipi and Natty Bwoy.

An initiative of one of the Upper East’s finest Deejays, DJ Gizy, Buluk2theworld has become the event that outdoors super-talented musicians to the entire Builsa Tradional Area year after year. It also helps crown the Feok Festival Celebrations by the people of the traditional area.

With over a 1000 people gathering at the Sandema Lorry Park, its safe to say Buluk2TheWorld III was a massive success. With back-to-back performances, the show ended at 4am…. That’s twelve hours of pure music.

Buluk2TheWorld III was sponsored by Happy Man Bitters. Savanna Multimedia also provided some promotional support.

Congratulations to the organizers. Higher heights await the next edition.

It’s the Christmas holidays and events across the country are battling the challenges of Covid-19 restrictions, however, for the love of music, many are braving the odds albeit observing the protocols to the max.
