Two of the Upper East Region’s own have joined forces. Bawku-based artist Wiz Jupita has released “Hope & Pray”, a new single featuring Bolgatanga’s StarBoy Sarauta.
The song arrived on Audiomack on 17 October 2026 and is listed under the Caribbean/dancehall genre. In its first week, it has already passed 16,000 plays. The track is produced by Eil’s Beat.
Who Are Wiz Jupita and StarBoy Sarauta?
For Wiz Jupita, “Hope & Pray” follows earlier releases including “Promise Me” and “It’s Okay”, plus his project The Journey of Love. StarBoy Sarauta brings years of experience to the feature. He is a singer and rapper who represents Bolgatanga’s Zongo community, and he has built a reputation as one of the region’s most consistent hitmakers.
Two Neighbouring Towns, One Song
The collaboration shows a theme Atigsi keeps returning to: artists from across the Savanna working together rather than alone. Bawku and Bolgatanga are neighbouring towns in the Upper East, and songs that bring their artists together are worth celebrating.
StarBoy Sarauta shared the release with fans on Facebook this week, calling it something new for those hungry for music.
