Dr. Pushkin and Ataman Nikita of Bolgatanga label Isolirium will release “All We’ve Done” on Friday 13 November 2026. The song features The Brothers Four, the American folk group behind the 1960 hit “Greenfields”, and it takes on galamsey, the illegal gold mining that is muddying rivers and eating into farmland across Ghana. You can pre-save it now.
A Bolga Record With an American Folk Harmony
The Brothers Four formed in Seattle in 1957. “Greenfields” reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1960 and sold more than a million copies, and the group, led by founding member Bob Flick, is still touring more than 67 years later. On “All We’ve Done”, their close harmonies open and close the song, framing the verses from Dr. Pushkin and Ataman Nikita.
The record was produced by Ricch Khalil, mixed by Phredxter and released by Isolirium LLC.
A Song About Galamsey
“All We’ve Done” is a protest song. It looks at muddied rivers, lost farms and the question of who profits from illegal mining and who is left to pay for it. The cover, painted like the rest of the project, shows a single river split in two: clear water and green trees on one side, mud and excavators on the other. A painted lyric film and a 52-page lyric book are also on the way.
Who Is Behind It?
Isolirium Entertainment is the Bolgatanga label behind Dr. Pushkin and Ataman Nikita. The team outdoored the Kologo fusion sound with “No Go Go”, and Ataman Nikita released his album Enigma in 2025. Read more about the label in our feature on Isolirium’s breakthrough.
