A new female voice has arrived from the North. Bolgatanga-born, Tamale-based singer Gillong has released her single “No Stress”, produced by MI Beat. The song came out on 4 November 2026 through her management, Sauce Plug Entertainment, and is streaming now on Audiomack, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Boomplay, Deezer and other platforms.

About “No Stress”
“No Stress” is a breezy Afro-pop record that runs for 2 minutes 20 seconds and is filed under Afrosounds on Audiomack. The cover matches its laid-back title: Gillong, in curly copper hair and wide-leg jeans, crouches in the middle of an empty road with a city skyline glowing behind her at sunset, with “No Stress” written across the sky in warm orange script. The release is marked explicit.
Sauce Plug Entertainment is introducing her as “Ghana’s next Afro-pop sensation” and “a new voice, a fresh vibe”, and has called on radio and TV stations, DJs, bloggers and content creators to get behind the song.
Who Is Gillong?

Gillong, who goes by Tanko Gillong on Facebook, is from Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region and now lives in Tamale. “No Stress” is the single Sauce Plug Entertainment is using to introduce her, describing her as a rising female Afro-pop artiste ready to take her music from Ghana to the world.
She arrives at a good time for women in Northern music. Established names like Wiyaala and Sherifa Gunu have been busy this year, while younger acts such as Asakia Bia are on the bill for this month’s Pandy Music Festival. A fresh Afro-pop voice from Bolga adds to that mix.
Where to Listen to “No Stress”
