Bolgatanga’s Nambawan has one word for his fans: “Ha!” The former Upper East Music Awards Artiste of the Year released the single on 21 August 2026, with production from fellow Upper East star Fasetwo, and it is streaming now on Audiomack, Apple Music and other platforms via ffm.to/nambawan-ha.

About “Ha!”
“Ha!” is a short, punchy Afrosounds record at 2 minutes 9 seconds. The cover matches its energy: Nambawan grinning in sunglasses and a checked jacket beneath a giant white “Ha!” set against a bright orange, hand-drawn pattern. On Audiomack it has passed 21,000 plays, and one fan’s comment under the release sums it up: “Hit repeat.”
Next Stop: Pandy Music Festival
Nambawan is the first name on the bill for the Pandy Music Festival, which takes over Zuarungu Hill Top Bar on Friday, 20 November 2026 from 6pm, with free entry. Pandy Bobby’s festival also features Saint Chicago, Rully Clatty, Asakia Bia, Acxionboi and more, so expect “Ha!” to get a proper outing.
Who Is Nambawan?
Nambawan is one of Bolgatanga’s most recognisable voices. He was crowned Artiste of the Year at UEMA ’21, and he has stayed in demand ever since. His own releases include “Gebota” featuring Sule Ayuune in March 2026, “LagaZee” in 2025 and “Ateni” with Bolga Killer Kayoore.
He is just as busy on other people’s songs. In the past year alone he has featured on Fasetwo’s “Weather” with Bill Gucci, Eddie Burna’s “Dadaare”, Spong Gee’s “Saa Fuo”, Lyrical ZK’s “La De Se’em La Dena”, MNARO’s “Chill Freeze” and AmenEast Gospel’s “Born-Again”. Most recently he appeared on Jaysay’s “Fully Active (Live)” in October.
Where to Listen to “Ha!”
“Ha!” is out now on all major streaming platforms. Catch up before the Pandy Music Festival, then sing it back at him in Zuarungu.
