Who Is Performing?
Larruso is one of the leading names in Ghana’s new wave of dancehall. The Accra New Town act has built a strong following with songs like “Poisonous” and his project Sounds from the Slums, and staged his first headline concert earlier this year. Bringing him to Bolgatanga gives Upper East fans a rare chance to see him up close.
Jahbone MP is a dancehall artiste from Bongo in the Upper East, now based in Soe, who runs his own Bone Nation Music. He has been part of the region’s scene for years and was among the Ghanaian artistes named for Dr. Pushkin’s two-album duology. Young Pop completes the bill.
A Busy Season in the Upper East
The North Xperience adds to a packed run of shows in the region this festive season. Before it comes Acxionboi’s Celebrity Experience in Paga on 14 November and the Pandy Music Festival in Zuarungu on 20 November. After it, B-Wayne’s BakanBork3 Concert heads to Jocom Golden Hotel on Christmas Eve.
Tickets are cheaper in advance, so dial *713*815*12# early and get to NAB Hotel on time. The show starts at 1pm sharp.
