Upper West rapper and singer Berima Ojay has turned his latest street record into a prayer. On 3 November 2026 he released “Ta Veng (Worship Version)”, a gospel reworking of “Ta Veng”, his October single with Sambwoy and ZiezaaMusic. Ziezaa produced the new version too. It is streaming now on Audiomack, and Ojay shared it with a simple call to his fans: “Let’s pray through the link.”

About “Ta Veng (Worship Version)”
The worship version runs for 3 minutes 4 seconds and is filed under Gospel on Audiomack. The original “Ta Veng”, released on 15 October with verses from Sambwoy and production by ZiezaaMusic, was listed as hip-hop. A write-up shared on Ojay’s page described that track as a song about everyday struggles: the backbiters who smile in your face and the people who plot behind your back.
Ojay has kept the same mood in how he talks about the song. In his posts he tells listeners they are not alone when the walls seem to be closing in, and urges them to stay calm, pray and keep going even at the eleventh hour. One fan joked that he deserves a church of his own, calling him the first Waala artiste to put out a gospel song. Another called “Ta Veng” “street gospel”.
The black-and-white cover shows Ojay in a white suit and dark glasses, hands folded, surrounded by men and women dressed in white inside a weathered building. Bold “TA-VENG” lettering runs across the bottom with the credits “Song by Berima Ojay” and “Prod-ZiezaaMusic”.
